Is testing worthless?
Lane Becker of Adaptive Path has published an article entitled
90 percent of all usability testing is useless. Given the simultaneous appearance of
this mini-memoir about faking it in focus groups, one has to step lightly when diving into testing. I believe testing has merits when targeted properly—and I particularly agree with Lane's assertion that testing is a UI function and not QA.
